National Childrenswear Survey Launched

Preliminary development and validation of BVI for children has been taking place during the past year. The lead collaborator of The Body Benchmark Study, Select Research have announced details of a National Childrenswear Survey for major retailers called Shape GB. Details can be found on www.shapegb.org .
The partners of the Body Benchmark Study have assisted Shape GB in preliminary 3D validation of data for children and it is envisaged that the anonymous data from the Shape GB survey will also be available for long-term BVI validation for Childhood Obesity indices.
